Committing Your Life to Christ

Have you renounced your sins and made your commitment to God? God is absolutely holy, and you cannot belong to God when you are enslaved to sin. But if you will turn away from your sin-repent-and put your trust in Jesus Christ to save you, God promises to come and live in you. God will give you the power to change and to live a new life. Will you turn to God today? If so, here is a suggested prayer: O God, I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin. I am willing to turn from my sin. I receive Jesus as my Savior; I confess Him as my Lord. From now on I want to follow Jesus in the fellowship of His church. In Jesus' name. Amen.

On May 21, 2006, The Greenville UMC Church Council voted to begin a technology renovation project in memory of the Reverend Karl L. Crowe. This technology renovation will include an electronic/digital organ, a new sound system, LCD projector, lap top computer, screen, powerpoint software, and a DVD/VCR player for the sanctuary. It will cost approximately $25,000. If you are looking for an opportunity to be generous above and beyond your regular tithing and giving to Greenville United Methodist Church, then please consider contributing to this project. Any contributions should be designated "technology renovation" on your check or envelope and mailed to the Church as P.O. Box 250, Greenville, VA 24440.
